Wulong Natural Bridges scenic spot (Tian Sheng San Qiao)is located in the north bank of Wujiang River within Wulong County in Chongqing. It’s the biggest group of natural formed bridges in the world, and there is mountain, water, fog, spring, valley, peak, creek and waterfall. It is a high-quality eco-tourist area.
Three natural born stone arch bridges, Heaven Dragon Bridge, Green Dragon Bridge, and Black Dragon Bridge span across the Yang River Grand Canyon, 1 kilometer in length, extremely huge and magnificent. The average height above the bridge is 200 meters, and the bridge spans are all more than 400 meters. The dazed fog, clear springs, steep peaks, cliffs on the valley sides are stunning and breath-taking. Within the scenic, there is bridge after bridge, hole out of hole, bridges are all connected and holes are interlinked, there is light seen from the natural pit among the holes, and ripples below the bridge opening. In the central valley, water falls below the bridge, one Gap, two Pits, three Bridges, four Holes, and five Springs form the unique characteristics of the scenic.
Inside Natural Bridges, the tour route from the cliff to the bottom is five kilometers, and amazingly known to the world for three Large-scale, majestic stone arch bridge: Heaven Dragon Bridge, Green Dragon Bridge, and Black Dragon Bridge, of all average height is above 200 meters and with a deck width of about 100 meters. It is indeed such a huge domestic rare that there are three so large natural formed bridges within a distance of only 1200 meters.
Natural Bridges (Tian Sheng San Qiao) in Wulong has another name of “Tian Keng San Qiao”, is a nationally rare geological wonder of eco-tourism area, and belongs to the typical Karst landform.
