Heavenly Pit Zone is rare geological and ecological scenery, listed as the Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO in Jun, 2007. It lies 20km southeastern of Wulong County, 15km from Fairy Mountain National Forest Reserve, 30km from the China’s First Cave—Furong(Hibiscus) Cave. It includes three grandeur natural bridges and two heavenly pits: three bridges connects two holy pits.
Tianlong(Sky Dragon) Pit: not just famous for its scenery. Famous film director Zhang Yimou directed part of his film Curse of the Golden Flower here.
Shenying(Holy Eagle) Pit: between the Qinglong Bridge and Heilong Bridge. it is named because of its peculiar shape like an eagle ready to stretch its wings and fly up.
In additional to its natural beauty, people also created adventurous rock climbing through natural cliffs here.
Heavenly Pit No. 1 Bridge is called Tianlong(Sky Dragon) Bridge. It erects between the earth and sky with 200m in length and 300 in span. There are caves inside caves in the bridge, as magnificent and amazing as a maze.
Heavenly Pit No. 2 Bridge is Qinglong(Green Dragon) Bridge. It has the biggest verticality difference with 350m in height, 150m in width and 400m in span length. When sun set comes, thousands of sunshine penetrates through the bridge. The imposing bridge, in a successive sparkling light and dim, looks like a green dragon flying into the sky. That is how its name originates.
Heavenly Pit No. 3 Bridge is Heilong(Black Dragon) Bridge. among its black hole, the top stone shapes like a black dragon hiding there, scaring people passing by. Its unique beauty lies in its bridge scenery and four springs named after its spraying gestures: Three Layers Spring, One Thread Spring, Pearls Spring and Foggy Spring.

Earthly Slit is situated near the Heavenly Pit. It is 10, 000m long and 80-200m deep with numbers of caves under its bottom. Once you stand in its bottom, you will soon drop into a sense of mystery.
The marvel flies to your head when you stand against the iron handrail in its top.
Peering into the grandeur dim green, you can just imagine how deep it can be, 100m? 200?......
You will be amazed by Nature’s marvelous work.
