Yabuli International Ski Resort
Yabuli International Ski Resort is 177 km southeast of Harbin(3 hours by van).
The average temperature here is -10℃, and the lowest -44℃, making the snow duration up to 170 days and skiing days up to nearly 150 days! Covering an area of 23 square km, Yabuli International Ski Resort is the largest ski area with best facility in China. Yabuli has a number of qualities down hill and country trails, some of which are comparable with those in North America and Switzerland.
It is also well facilitated. The 3800m long main skiing trail here is located at an altitude of 1300m. Cable car lifts are available. The whole resort is surrounded by imposing mountain ranges lavishly covered with pine forests.
In 1996, the resort hosted the 3rd Asian Winter Games successfully. Yabuli hosted the 1996 Winter Asian Games and the 2008 National Winter Games. It will also be a site for the 2009 Winter Universiade.
The resort is not only famous as a ski resort in China but also renowned for its scenic beauty. Our pictures will show this.
